All Solid Poly Box
Our box features a 1/2″ thick High Density Solid Poly Floor and 3/4″ thick Solid Poly sides for easy cleaning and minimal freeze up. Also, less friction means less force needed to pull the load off. The box flares and extensions are made of SAE 304 Stainless Steel. This box is built to last!
Front Belt Drive
The beaters are driven by a Heavy Duty 3/5VX Banded Belt that powers through tough loads while also protecting other drive components from damaging torque spikes and overloads. The design eliminates the need for a shear hub or slip clutch, meaning no shear bolts to replace or clutch discs to burn out or seize up. Belt wear is compensated with a spring loaded tensioner that is easily adjustable. A High HP rating ensures minimal slippage and a long belt life. Configurable for 540 RPM or 1000 RPM PTO.
Heavy-Duty Gearboxes
Main beater is driven by a 90° bevel gearbox with a 1:1 Ratio. The apron drive features an In-Line Parallel Shaft Gear Reducer with a 31.4:1 ratio. Very high efficiency and torque. No worm gear also means less heat and more durability, along with better seal & lube life. Both feature bevel and cylindrical forged gears made from the best material available today by the same manufacturer with a worldwide reputation.
Hydraulic Apron
The hydraulic apron drive allows the operator to match the spreading rate and pattern with the manure consistency by varying the speed of the apron. The spreader mounted flow control valve regulates the flow rate to the hydraulic motor that is coupled to the apron drive gear box. The speed can be regulated from the tractor cab by a “twist hose”. Electric flow control is also an option with a control box located in the tractor cab.
Optional Rock Guard
An optional rock guard replaces the standard splash pan. Helps protect the operator and tractor cab from rocks or other flying debris that could possibly be thrown forward by the beaters.
Standard Top Beater
The top beater provides more uniform spreading. It also breaks up large chunks of manure that otherwise may be carried over the main beater.
Wear-Resistant Paddles
The main beater is equipped with replaceable 1/4″ thick AR400 steel paddles. AR400 is an abrasion resistant (AR) quenched and tempered alloy steel that exhibits high abrasion resistance and hardness with a durable, impact-resistant surface.
Heavy-Duty Apron Chain
The 67P11 Positive Lock Chain is made of the highest quality construction for heavy duty work in farming and other industrial projects. The links of the chain are made of a one piece construction with no pins to bend, lock or shear.
